There were some things that Nikola would always be good at; science, pressing his advantage, manipulating others, long cons. And there were some things that he would never be good at and being a good student was one of them. Nikola had amazed and frustrated his teachers as a child, astounding them with his skills and irritating them when he called them incompetent and showed how they were wrong. With Alcuin however Nikola would allow a moment of weakness in admitting he might not know as much as the other man. But that didn't mean he got to take all the advantage, Nikola was still Nikola Tesla after all and he always had a plan to change the situation to his advantage.

Alcuin would be the teacher for now.

"I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this." Nikola said, sliding his hand down Alcuin's back as he looked up at Alcuin's home. A hint of a wry smile tugged at the corner of his mouth, as he let Alcuin lead him into his home.
