Dec. 26th, 2011 06:37 pmIf Science, or progress, did not stop to bathe then of course it stood to reason that it did not stop for ridiculous seasonal holidays. Where would science have been if he had stopped to give Helen a Valentine's day present? Or Einstein stopped to dress up in a ridiculous costume and hand out candy to children? No, science did not slow down just because of the holidays.
Science did have to stop to sleep though. The limitations of a human and not immortal body were becoming all too apparent when at the end of the day he simply wished to retire and drink through his entire supply of wine and of course seduce Alcuin into his bed. Luckily for Nikola when he did enter his room something altogether more appealing than just wine was waiting for him.
"Well, well look at what I've caught." Nikola replied with a smirk, looking over at Alcuin trapped beneath the mistletoe. Undoing his cravat, Nikola draped it across a chair and slunk around Alcuin stuck beneath the damned plant. "Naughty Alcuin, were you trying to sneak a peak at your gift?"
