"If you're not naked, I'm going to be terribly disappointed in you." Nikola said loudly as he entered Mac's home with a little flourish. The fact that he had not even knocked to come in said a lot, not just about Nikola but how comfortable he felt around her. He'd been doing that to Helen for years. "Do you even realise what hour it is? I think I saw a sunrise, for the first time in at least a century and it wasn't because I stayed up for a change but because I got up early."

Nikola made himself comfortable, placing the pastries and coffee he had found down on a table. "I hope you're not decent."

"What on earth? Nikola? Why are you here?"

Mac actually is naked and it's a bit of a shock because she hadn't been expecting anyone at all. She manages to wrap the sheet around herself enough to venture padding out into the other room to see what Nikola's decided to get himself into.

"I brought coffee and pastries," Nikola said, stopping to appreciate the view. The rather splendid view of Mac clad only in a sheet, rumpled hair and far too much leg on show. Nikola smirked, gaze sliding up her body before he indicated the spread in front of him. "So, you really do sleep naked then? I did tell you I was going to surprise you and see if you slept naked. It's hardly my fault you didn't believe me."

"I wore pajamas the next few nights just in case but you never showed so I got lax on my security," Mac says, leaning over and snagging a pastry while letting the sheet slip down enough to show a fair amount of what modest cleavage she had.

"Serves me right, doesn't it?"

"Well, of course I wasn't going to come the next night that would spoil the surprise." Nikola said, glancing down as Mac leaned over. His gaze wandering down her body, paying particular attention to the way the sheet slipped down. "Of course it does, I made my intentions very clear. Still I did bring you food that should swing in my favour surely."

"Coffee makes you highly favored," Mac says, biting into her pastry and closing her eyes in bliss. It's almost like being at home again.

"Did you just come to see me? Or was there something you needed?"

"Wine even more so but perhaps not at this hour," Nikola replied, watching Mac bite into the pastry. He savoured the way she closed her eyes, his smirk tugging a little more as he watched her. "Oh, I need to borrow your tiny hands again. I thought I would bribe you at least first so you'd be more inclined to let me borrow them. You don't even need to get dressed to help."

Mac frowns a bit, trying to work that out. "Why would you need my tiny hands this early in the morning and this far away from your lab bench? I'm not exactly working that out."

She's brilliant, but only after a few cups of coffee, so she starts working on her first.

"You're even more attractive when you frown, just so you know your sheet is slipping." Nikola said, glancing down. It wasn't but if she panicked or flailed a little and it did happen to slip a little more well then, Nikola was sure to benefit. "I only need them for a fitting, I don't need them to help me with something more technical yet."

"Well, I suppose we could do that," Mac says, straightening up a bit. She gives him a little grin. "Sorry, I'm a bit out of sorts because I'm not exactly dressed and you make me nervous even when I have a whole closet of clothes between my skin and yours."

Poor choice of wording, isn't it?

"Are you trying to get me naked?" Nikola asked with a smirk. His teeth showing as he flashed a wicked sort of smirk at her. The one he used when he had intentions. "I make you nervous? Interesting. In what way do I make you nervous?"

"In the sense where I'm not sure if you're asking me to help you with an actual project or if you're trying to seduce me," Mac says warily.

"Not that I mind either, really. I'm amenable."

"Why can't it be both?" Nikola replied with a slight leer. Nikola liked to tease her, just a little, to see her blush and stammer when she got too flushed by him. It was much more entertaining than flirting with Helen, Helen just usually hit him. "Come here then, I want your wrist."

Nikola patted his lap with a wicked smirk.

Mac draws closer, slightly wary, and settles in his lap before offering her wrist. "There you are, one wrist, very dainty. What's my reward, then?"

She grins at him, pleased. She always feels desirable when Nikola's around and this is no exception.

Nikola stiffened, sitting up a little straighter in the chair as Mac settled onto his lap. He hadn't really expected her to just sit on his lap, normally Helen had to be bribed or blackmailed or threatened and he hadn't expected Mac to just do what he wanted. And he wasn't exactly prepared for a lapful of attractive Mac either.

"What? Right," Nikola said, trying for a smirk before trying to settle more comfortably with her just positioned on his lap like that. Nikola reached around her, rescuing the gold bracelet from his jacket pocket before clicking it into place. A little large but not overly so, it was one of his more delicate pieces. "There. What do you think?"

Mac gasps, surprised that it's actually something this beautiful. She lifts her hand to look at it a little more closely and, in doing so, the sheet slides down and pools around her waist.

"I didn't...this is too much, Nikola. I can't accept this."

Nikola didn't think it was at all too much but he was rather more distracted by the view than her words. Sliding an arm around her waist, he made sure to keep his hand above the sheet so she couldn't tug it back up and spoil his rather pleasant morning.

"Well, it's hardly going to suit me. I'm more of a necklace man," Nikola replied with a smirk, leaning forward to rest his lips against her bare exposed shoulder. An even more pleasant view from here he was finding.

"You're incorrigible," Mac says, tilting her wrist a bit to admire the bracelet. His lips on her shoulder were a pleasant surprise too and she sighed a bit, enjoying that more than she probably should.

"However will I pay you back, hmm?"

"I have no idea as to what you are talking about. Me? Incorrigible? Hardly," Nikola replied with a smirk against her skin. He let his thumb brush up her side, enjoying the sensation of smooth bare skin beneath his fingers. "Oh, I don't know I can think of a few ways you could pay me back. But I think seeing you admire my gift more than enough payment."

"I could kiss you," Mac says softly, as if she's not committed to the idea. "I'm not sure if that would be considered good enough payment for something so lovely, though, so I hope you're not offended?"

She doesn't think he will be, of course, but it's part of the game she's trying to play.

"Oh, I don't know I suppose it would depend on the kiss itself." Nikola replied with a softer smirk. His lips tugging at the corner into a teasing smile against her skin before sliding his lips up to her neck to brush a kiss there. "So, you'd better make it a good one then, shouldn't you?"

"I can make it a good one," Mac promises, sliding her hand up to cup his cheek. "I think we should try it out."

There's nothing she wants more than to kiss Nikola right now and she hopes he'll oblige her.

Nikola smiled a little wickedly as his hand slid up her waist, resting just beneath her breasts. Nikola tilted his head curiously towards her, lifting his chin a little defiantly before almost brushing a kiss against her lips.

"Do you now? Try? Let's then, shall we?" Nikola murmured, brushing his thumb beneath her breast before he kissed her smoothly.

It's enough contact that Mac whimpers a little when he finally kisses her and tries to press herself closer. It's been a long time since she made a fool of herself with anyone, much less someone she likes even half as much as she likes Nikola.

"Rousing try," she manages, breathless.

"You are remarkably sensitive. Let's try for more than rousing, shall we?" Nikola murmured at Mac's little breathlessness. He swiped his thumb just a centimetre more up her breast, mostly just to see her reaction. Nikola brushed another kiss against her lips, parting her lips with his tongue kissing her teasingly.

It's more than rousing and more than just a try and Mac presses as close to him as she can, deepening the kiss. It's been a long time since she's felt this strongly about anyone and for some reason Nikola drives her insane in all the best ways.

"Point proven, Nikola."

"Was it? Are you sure? I'd hate for you to have missed my... point." Nikola said, brushing his thumb across her nipple before sliding his palm more solidly against her breast. Nikola smirked a little against her lips as she pressed close to him.

"Damn," Mac says, drawing in a sharp breath. She should have known that Nikola would like to tease and, in all truth, she likes that he does. She likes having someone fascinated enough by her to put in the effort - many men she's dated simply haven't.

"Think...think I'm beginning to grasp the concept. More? Please?"

"And let your coffee go cold?" Nikola teased, pinching her nipple between finger and thumb before gently stroking. Hard and soft, sharp and gentle, just like Nikola. Turning his head to brush a kiss against her neck, he murmured something in his mother tongue before running his tongue over her skin. "I suppose I could be persuaded."

"I'll persuade you right into my bed," Mac says huffily. She can feel where she's blushing and she is incredibly worked up even from just this little bit - if he teases her any longer, she'll go mad.

"Please?"

"I'm sure you will, I'd rather find a place between your legs. I'm sure that could keep you satisfied for hours," Nikola replied with a teasing pride in his voice. He could see exactly where she was blushing and it was terribly attractive on her. "Seeing as you asked so nicely."

Nikola smirked, pressing a kiss to her neck as he slid one arm beneath her knees and one arm around her. Standing up Nikola carried Mac fairly securely. "I think your bedroom is that way isn't it?"

"It is, yes," Mac says, nodding a little. She hadn't exactly expected to be carried in there and it's a pleasant surprise; Will never carried her except the once when she broke her ankle.

"I don't think I've ever been carried before. It's extravagant."

"Well, let's hope I'm not too old and end up putting out my back." Nikola replied with a self-depreciating smirk. He didn't really think he was too old but mortality was started to way in on him. The day he found a grey hair was the day he was going to yell at Helen for an hour at least before making her divulge her beauty secrets. "And I rather like life's little extravagances."

Nikola carried her into the bedroom, kicking the door shut behind him before placing her down on the bed. "Now, where was I?"

"You were about to drive me mad with desire," Mac teases. She likes that he made enough of a fuss to carry her into bed and she intends to make it well worth his while. "Come kiss me, then? Just to start?"
